Our athletic approach puts a modern twist to the Pilates repertoire we know and love. We’ve designed a class schedule that focuses on a major muscle group for the day but, don’t worry-you’ll be working your full body no matter what day you come to class!

We will have you feeling challenged and energized both physically and mentally all while you’re improving muscular strength, balance, alignment, & flexibility. And not to mention – it’s seriously addictive!

  • PILATES 101.

    New to Pilates or looking to fine tune your technique? In a pilates beginner class we move at a slower pace to build a solid Pilates foundation. We focus on form, breathing and alignment to help you master the Pilates fundamentals. Don’t be fooled though, this class will make your muscles burn and shake-you’ll be feeling them the next day!

  • ATHLETIC REFORMER.

    Athletic Reformer is our signature reformer class. Our athletic approach applies modern research from biomechanics & physical therapy giving you an effective and results driven workout. You can expect this class to be very creative, high-energy, & challenging. Get ready to sweat & have FUN!

  • CARDIO REFORMER.

    Let’s get sweaty! If you’re looking for an alternative to traditional cardio, this low impact & high intensity class is just what you need. We will be utilizing the Pilates Jumpboard which allows you to strengthen your core and legs while putting very little stress & impact on your joints. In this fast-paced class you can expect the music bumping, your heart pumping & you’ll be leaving sweaty! And don’t worry, we don’t jump the whole time!

  • ARMS. ABS. ASS.

    Get ready to feel that burn in your best assets; arms, abs and ass! Our AAA class will take you through a series of targeted exercises in a circuit style reformer class. This 50 minute class will have your arms pumping, abs burning and ass shaking, leaving you feeling challenged and invigorated in all your best places!

  • STRETCH AND RELEASE.

    Our stretch & release is an open level restorative class designed to increase flexibility and mobility. Using the reformer and other props such as the foam roller, you’ll move through a series of dynamic & static stretches. This class will have you feeling lengthened, relaxed & balanced-a must add to any fitness program.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

 
  • We recommend form fitting athletic wear so our instructors can see your form. We do not require grip socks but feel free to bring your own if you prefer to wear them.

    Bring a water & towel. We have water fountains and sell Defiance Fuel water bottles.

    We also have 2 changing rooms, no showers.

    Arrive 10 minutes before class so we can check you in, show you the studio, and go over anything you need us to know about your body.

  • We recommend taking a beginner class or private depending on your availability or preference. If you have injuries or are still unsure where to start, reach out to us! We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns. Reach out to us at: hello@studiopilatesnashville.com

  • Everyone can do and benefit from pilates! Whether you’re a novice, an athlete, active ager or are dealing with an injury. And YES even men can do and benefit from pilates-(it was developed by a man)!

    Pilates is designed not only to focus on core strength and flexibility but to train the body as an integrated whole. This means your body and your mind are getting a killer workout.

    Here are just a few benefits you’ll see and feel:

  • You can signup on MindBody. Once you make a Mindbody account, you can signup for our group classes.

    We strongly encourage to signup ahead of time, as class sizes are limited. Walk-ins are welcome, space permitting.

  • No problem! If you need to cancel your reservation, please cancel as soon as possible. Any cancellations made less than 12 hours before the start of class will forfeit the class credit. Membership members you will incur a $20 late cancel fee and the class will be returned to your account. If you do not show up for your reservation, you will be charged for the class. For our unlimited members, this means you will incur a $20 charge to your account if you are late cancelled or do not show up to the class.

  • - If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you will receive an email or text notification letting you know you that you have been added to the class.

    - You must be “opted-in” for email and / or text notifications in MindBody in order to receive waitlist notifications.

    - If you are on the waitlist and are no longer able to attend, we ask that you remove yourself as you will be responsible for the class if you should be added.
